About the AISES BMM Test Labs Internship

Two positions are available with AISES partner, BMM Test Labs. The internships will be located in Las Vegas, NV. The Intern will assist test engineers as part of a team responsible for: assessing gaming technology integrity, accountability and functionality; performing statistical analysis of gaming device and game probabilities; reviewing gaming device and system source code; and assisting with the development of testing procedures.

The ideal student will be enrolled and pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in computer science, computer programming, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. Some consideration may be given to students enrolled and pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Network/System Administration. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be completing their junior year and going into their senior year in college. Seniors and Graduate students are eligible for participation.

Interns Are Provided with The Following

  • Round-trip airfare or mileage to internship site up to $500

  • Weekly stipend - $500

  • Dormitory lodging at UNLV arranged by AISES

  • Weekly Local transportation allowance - $50

  • Please note that lodging is for the intern only. Family and friends cannot be accommodated, as each intern will be assigned another intern as a roommate whenever feasible. These provisions are non-negotiable.

Internship Terms & Conditions

  • Intern must complete the entire 10 weeks of full-time work in the assigned office. Intern should not undertake this commitment if it creates undue hardship or if their personal or financial obligations prevent them from participating for the full 10 consecutive weeks.

  • Work exclusively for BMM Testlabs.

  • Provide a comprehensive assessment of the program upon its completion.

  • Agree to and abide by the AISES Code of Conduct.
