We are currently hiring for two part-time positions as Career Counselors in our Los Angeles and Santa Ana locations. Interested? Keep reading to learn more about this position.


Under the direction of the Workforce Development Director, the Career Counselor is responsible for meeting with participants and may need to determine eligibility by conducting an in-depth interview to determine the eligibility of the Workforce Development program. Once eligibility is determined a comprehensive assessment of participant's employment needs is conducted to develop a detailed service plan to address needs and lead the client towards obtaining full time, unsubsidized employment. Provide ongoing training, supportive employment counseling, coaching and mentoring participants during their employment search. Build partnerships with community agencies and businesses for shared resources and training opportunities. Researches opportunities for career pathways, other training programs and conducts outreach and recruitment. Enters documentation into customer case files, enters detailed notes in the database, and prepares and submits reports.
